Testimonials
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Every day, I am incredibly moved by the beautiful stories and heartfelt messages you share. Your support, whether through a kind word, a donation, or a book purchase, means the world to us. It’s a powerful reminder that Rex’s story continues to bring people together and that this mission truly touches lives.
These aren’t just testimonials; they are messages from our family to yours. They are the stories that make all the hard work worth it.
I met Rico and Rex by chance several months ago as Rico was preparing for his new adventure. I was deeply touched by his openness, his warmth, and his desire to follow his new calling. Moreover, I was immediately taken by Rex – a most loving dog – and a clearly devoted companion to Rico. Love Me Like A Dog is an amazing new mission for a fine man and a loving, devoted dog. Everyone that comes into contact with this incredible duo will be blessed.
“Dog Treat Cookbook Health & Safety” “I absolutely love this cookbook! As a dog owner, I’m always looking for ways to give my dog healthy snacks, and this book has been a lifesaver. The recipes are easy to follow, and it’s clear that a lot of research went into the health and safety information. It’s a fantastic resource for anyone who wants to treat their dog with love.”
Paw-ems from the Heart” “This book is a beautiful tribute to the bond between humans and dogs. I was deeply moved by the heartfelt poems and the story of Rex. It’s more than just a book; it’s a testament to the unconditional love our canine companions give us. I bought a copy for myself and another for a friend who recently lost her dog.”
Love Me Like a Dog Inc. Mission “Finding Love Me Like a Dog has been an inspiration. Their mission to honor Rex’s memory by helping veterans, our first responders (FR) and animals is so touching and important. I’ve been following their journey, and it’s a wonderful reminder of the good that can come from even the most difficult times. Ricardo or Rico as he told me I can call him, has used every single dollar he had, and even sold him motorcycle (his childhood dream), to build this non-profit. It’s an organization I am proud to support.”
“Teaching My Grandkids a Valuable Lesson” “I ordered a copy of the Dog Treat Cookbook and was so impressed. The recipes are fantastic, and the fact that it only costs $5 to ship anywhere in America is a huge bonus. I bought an extra copy to share with my grandchildren. It’s a small way to donate and teach them the importance of helping our veterans and first responders. Highly recommend!”
“A Story That Will Move You”.
This organization’s mission is deeply personal, and you can feel the love and dedication in everything they do. From Rex’s story to the books they’ve created, it’s all about making a difference. I purchase the cookbook and the recipes for cool popsicles treats is very easy and fun. California is hot and my dog Boo loves it. I’ve been a proud supporter since the beginning, as I was working at U of M hospital in Ann Arbor MI. Due to the Covid and cuts U of M had to make, he stop working at the IT department. He did not have a contract yet and those positions were the first ones to go. We did keep in touch, and I end up moving to CA. I can’t wait to see all the good he will accomplish. Missed you my friend.
