I met Rico and Rex by chance several months ago as Rico was preparing for his new adventure. I was deeply touched by his openness, his warmth, and his desire to follow his new calling. This organization’s mission is deeply personal, and you can feel the love and dedication in everything they do. From Rex’s story to the books they’ve created, it’s all about making a difference. I purchase the cookbook and the recipes for cool popsicles treats is very easy and fun. California is hot and my dog Boo loves it. I’ve been a proud supporter since the beginning, as I was working at U of M hospital in Ann Arbor MI. Due to the Covid and cuts U of M had to make, he stop working at the IT department. He did not have a contract yet and those positions were the first ones to go. We did keep in touch, and I end up moving to CA. I can’t wait to see all the good he will accomplish. Missed you my friend.
